Firstly I've already hard bricked my lg phone twice trying to install a rom on it luckily I was able to get back into stock by writing laf I think it was and enter download mode.

What am I doing wrong? I used the brute force method to install root then I had to launch twrp via file manager which is what I'm thinking caused it to go into fastboot mode.

I'd really like lollipop on my g2 but doesn't look like it'll happen unless theres a for sure to install twrp properly on my phone.
