I randomly lost root access on my htc one x+ topic

I am running the latest android revolution HD and clockwork recovery. A few weeks ago my clockwork superuser just disappeared and turned into an app with an android icon named root or something similar. At that stage I lost root. I uninstalled that root app and tried to flash superuser through recovery but it didn't work. How do I fix?
