how to sim unlock LG ls980 running Cyanogenmod 12 nightly topic

hello fellow android users,i recently installed cyanogenmod 12 nightly package on my lg ls980,but sadly it is sim locked ,and when i root and use root browser and explored in root directory of my phone there is no carrier folder so that i could use the method i used with official kikat(ls980zve) to sim unlock...i need great help
