[Guide] Acer Liquid E600 root + disable secure mount topic
Hy,
First, sorry for my bad english :p
This is my first thread here. I made a modified boot.img what turn off the secure_mount_mode in Acer Liquid E600
Root process (from http://acer-club.fr/viewtopic.php?f=252&t=9804):
Install the correct adb and fastboot drivers,
Turn on the USB Debugging
- Download CWM 6.0.5.0: http://acer.shreps.fr/dl.php?v=CWM-6...MF9FNjAwLmltZw,,
- Download SuperSU zip: http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu and copy to your sd card
-Flash the cwm via fastboot:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot boot CWM-6.0.5.0_E600.img
Install the SuperSU zip with cwm.
Now you have root permission with a read only system.
Download my boot.img: https://www.dropbox.com/s/walexx5gfe...temrw.img?dl=0
and flash via fastboot:
fastboot boot systemrw.img
Now you can mount the system r/w temporary (for mounting Link2SD ext partition, installing Xposed, deleting stock applications etc.)
Why temporary? I cant repack the original boot.img because the packed image size is smaller (16mb --> 9mb) and i cant unlock my bootloader :(
After reboot the phone use the original boot.img with the secure mount, but every app works good.
If you want modify the system, just boot my image :)
