First off, I'm new to these forums sorry if this thread is in the wrong section or related to other posts I don't know of.

So I wanted to root my GS5 - (G900V) and had success without tripping knox.

So after lots of time I found out a method.

First, I downloaded Odin

Second, I got a stock 4.4.2 rom for my device model (G900V)

Third, After getting those I used Odin and installed the rom booted my phone up
then I downloaded SuperSU from Google Play.


Fourth, Before I tried anything I blocked Knox and didn't trip it.

Like I said before I do not know of any other threads that are similar so my apologies if there is.
