Custom Firmware question topic

Hi. I have the i1890N currently on stock and rooted. The problem is there is some wakelock causing the battery to drain like crazy. I've spent months trying to figure out whats causing it but can't figure it out. I have a feeling it is something to do with wifi as when that is turned off, the wakelock isn't present. So I was thinking of changing to a custom rom, in particular, one which isn't heavy on battery. Any suggestions? Thanks!
