I've read/watched lots of a reviews.

Even though not every review gives negative comments about the Camera, none of them are jumping up and down raving about it.

I could deal with a slightly better camera than the M8. But at 20 mega pixels snaps that's gonna chew through space really quick. Yes, I understand it's compressed but so is every other camera (including the M8's).

Even now, by far, pictures/videos are the largest resource to "manage" on the phone. Already slow backing them up over the exact same resources as M8 (USB 2.0, WIFI, Sluggish Sprint Network at times).
And let's not forget MMS.

So now with a 5x larger base image and it's only Marginally better (on the positive reviews). It should be screaming quality for that added cost of resources.

I have the M9 sitting in a sealed box and can't decide to open it.
I sure hope the Camera Update makes it a screaming better camera. If it was as a good as say the Samsung S5 16 mega pixel, I'd open it enthusiastically right now. But it sounds like it's not.

There isn't much else the phone has to over the M8 other than the Camera.

Anyone else waiting for reviews of this Camera update before jumping in?
