I've always wanted to have a completely wireless car solution, so I was pretty excited about the wireless charging on the S6. Combined with bluetooth audio, it should be possible right? So I got a RAM mount and slapped a wireless charger on it, and it works! My major worry was that it wouldn't charge the phone fast enough. From brief testing, the phone at least keeps a charge while running GPS with screen on and streaming music over LTE. With GPS and screen off but still streaming music over LTE, I got maybe 5% battery charging over 15 minutes. Overall I'm pretty happy. Of note, the wireless charging worked through my Versus card slot case (awesome case btw) with my credit card and ID in there. Here are the important parts:

The Anker charger is about the thinnest I could find. It's very wide, but fortunately it just barely fits in the Ram mount. I'd recommend using some 3M double sided mounting tape to attach the charger to the mount. FYI, If you use that Kinivo bluetooth device (also great btw) you'll probably want a ground loop isolator like this one.
