Ambient Sensor topic

Hi! I'm a Nils Notification App user, and I can't use the "wakeup the screen next time the screen is uncover" as, even by email, they have told me that is because the phone has a sensor slow at capturing the light change. Any way to change this? (on my old nexus 4 I hadn't have this problem :P).
